Government of Alberta – Properties – Property Management
The Property Management (PM) Division of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Government of Alberta manages GOA properties which include 1,800 facilities consisting of general-purpose office space, museums, warehouses/service buildings, correctional centres, courthouses, research facilities, and 500,000 square metres of space in leased buildings. These are managed using a combination of outsourced and in-house staff.
Property Management is responsible for delivering Base Building services by either in-house staff or through a contracted service providers in owned facilities or through the landlord’s property management staff in leased facilities. Property Management is also responsible for delivering Tenant Services through the use of in-house staff, contractors or by the landlord in some leased facilities.
